I’m amazed at the progress made by women in business. I am a proud wife, mother, and business owner. I’m grateful every day that I get to do work I love. I will never come down off that ledge of gratitude and will continue striving for more
knowledge, success, and opportunity. But I’m also straight-forward, which leads me to this:
As a community, we still have a ways to go when it comes to seeing women in
leadership in business. And that’s why I take it upon myself to help lead this charge. To me, it starts with showing the way. To show our children and our community that we can lead, that we can have success, and that we can do it all—it is not easy, as I’m sure you know! But nothing good ever is easy.
It’s on me to not only show, but also to tell others-- young ladies in grade school, high school, college, and those in their 20’s that you can do it! You have to do it! We need you. And what’s great is I am there for you, and so are many others like me. It’s about having a community of people that care for each other, that root for each other, and that support each other when times are good and when they are bad. If you want to be a young woman entrepreneur, you can do it. And you should do it. Yes, you need to put in the time to acquire the knowledge and the experience-- that’s what people like me are there to help with. It’s why I created a brand around faith, fitness, and fearlessness.
Believe in yourself, believe in others, and make a difference. If I can do it--you can
do it.
